The 0708 school year is off to a great start! Within the first few days of school, we had 60 kindergarteners and 34 first graders enroll- both the largest classes in the past few years. Zion is continuing to deliver on the excellent education from the pre-kindergarten years through the early grades. In addition to our excellent K-1 teaching staff this year, our intermediate grades (2-5) boast multiple master's degree level teachers. For those who are unfamiliar with our revamped middle school program, this year we have a full-time science teacher to compliment our excellent math and humanities teachers. Zion is continuing to excel at teaching our young people how follow in the ways of the Lord and be confident in their ability to succeed in all areas of their lives. Have a blessed day! 2007-2008 will be my fifth year here at Zion Prep. It has been an incredible journey so far and I know that the Lord has much more in store for the students and staff at Zion. As I have been preparing for this school year, I have been reminded again that each student that attends Zion brings his/her own story and set of experiences. It is our job to tap into their experiences and create a relationship that will extend into their lives here at school and at home. These relationships create bonds that open up the door for the Holy Spirit to enter in and change lives. Each teacher at Zion understands that he/she is not only a teacher, but a 'minister', called to teach here at Zion.
